Hello! We're Denise & Janice Tunnell, a powerhouse team based in Atlanta, GA. As Branding and Lifestyle photographers, makeup artists, and beauty entrepreneurs, we've spent the pasts 25 years shaping the visual narratives of the Beauty and Entertainment Industries. Our journey began in Baltimore, Maryland, but our passion for capturing beauty has taken us far and wide.

Our Story: From Film Sets to Self-Created Beauty

While working in Feature Film and Television, we faced a common challenge obtaining high quality images of our makeup artistry. Studios often fell short in providing the visuals we craved. Fueled by our determination as Visual Storytellers, we decided to take matters into our own hands. Thus, our mission was born-to create stunning, authentic images that celebrate individuality.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your hours?: Our hours of operation are Mon thru Friday 10am to 6pm and on Saturday 10am to 4pm.
Where are you located?: We are located in the heart of Smyrna, Georgia.
Do you accept reservations?: Yes, we do accept reservations. Once you select the service that you are interested in, you will select the date that you want to shoot based on our availability. At this time, a non-refundable deposit is required.
What payment options do you accept?: We accept all major credit cards.
When is final payment or balance due?: Final payment is due no later than one week before your photo session. Any questions, email us at info@dualxposurephotography.com
What is your cancellation policy?: A 48 hour notice is required for cancellations and postponements. Anything less than that will forfeit a refund of your payment. Deposits are non-refundable, but photo sessions are transferable if a date change or postponement is necessary.
Do you have Covid-19 practices in place?: We do have Covid-19 practices in place. When shooting, the photographer and client will be more than 6 feet apart. All photographers and videographers will be wearing masks. The client will have on a mask when not shooting. If client is getting makeup applied as a part of his/her package, the Makeup Artist that we hire will wear a mask and shield during the entire makeup application. The client will be required to wear a mask only during the eye makeup application. Any Makeup Artist and/or Hairstylist attending the shoot that was not hired by DualXposure Photography is also required to wear a mask at all times. When in a studio environment, all high touch surfaces will be sanitized and disinfected.
Because you are not located in an actual studio, where do you shoot?: Based on our discovery call with you, we will decide along with you which locations and or studios are best suited for your shoot.
